Coinciding with the 22nd Vaccination Week in the Americas and the 13th World Immunization Week, the "63rd National Bivalent Oral Antipolio Vaccination Campaign will take place between April 22 and 26, simultaneously throughout the country. Cuba 2024 "
 
Polio, a highly contagious disease, killed or paralyzed more than half a million people in the world in the mid-20th century. Thanks to vaccination, this disease was eliminated from the Americas; However, as long as a single child in the world suffers from the disease, vaccination coverage must be maintained.
